Term Dates
Our Term dates tend to mirror those of our Local Authority, Bedford Borough Council and takes into consideration the date set by our local secondary school, Lincroft Academy. Occasionally there are changes, due to a number or reasons. If we deviate from Bedford Borough Council for any reason, the change will be published on our website and through our Class Dojo secure platform.
Daily arrival / departures information:
Gates will be open from approx. 8:30am and doors will open at 8:45am, staff will be on the playground / at the doors to meet and greet our children. Please make sure children are in school to start their day by 8:55am.
Parent Link staff will be available for any questions / messages and Teachers of Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 meet their children at the external door each morning. Parents of children in Year 4, 5 or 6 can pass messages to parents through staff on the playground or through Class Dojo / the School Office.
At the end of the day - Reception and Year 1 children are dismissed at their doors - so that they leave one at a time once a parent / carer has been seen. Children who attend After School Club wait until the end and are taken to Club. Children in Year 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 are dismissed from the playground each day.
Children in Year 5 and 6 can walk to and from school each day and we ask parents to let us now if this is the case, so we can safely release children in the correct way.

2024/2025 Dates have been finalised and are detailed below.
NEW INTAKE FOR SEPTEMBER 2024 It is very likely that our new Reception Intake will start school with us on the 3rd September 2024. This is a provisional date and will be confirmed later in the school year, as will Transition Dates for our new Reception children.
